How it works

Learning by do-di-ing

1

Say hi to dodi

Your child just talks, and dodi listens, chats back, and turns curiosity into play. No keyboard, no menus full of buttons.

2

It learns them

After every chat, dodi updates what it knows about your child and gently tunes how it teaches: at their pace, in their language.

3

Lessons & games that fit

Custom games and explanations arrive the way your child learns best, and dodi gets a little better every single time.

Built for trust

Your child's world stays in your hands

Everything is designed so that you, not an ad network or an algorithm, decide what happens with your family's data.

End-to-end encrypted

Your child's conversations are encrypted end-to-end. Not even we can read them. Your family's words stay your family's alone.

Bring your own AI

Connect your own Gemini or Claude key. Conversations go straight to the provider you chose, never through a middleman mining your kids' words.

See everything dodi knows

Every memory dodi forms about your child is visible in plain language. Read it, edit it, add notes, or wipe it, anytime.

No ads, no hooks

There's no engagement machine trying to keep your kid glued to a screen, and no data for sale, ever.

Open source by default

We build dodi in the open. Read the code, audit exactly how it handles your data, contribute improvements, or run your own private instance. Trust shouldn't require taking our word for it.

Why a dodo?

The dodo wasn't stupid. It was just underestimated.

History got the dodo wrong. We named our learning friend after it as a reminder: every child is smarter, more capable and more curious than they're given credit for. It all began when a father of three went looking for a learning experience that was actually fun, and couldn't find one.
