We use AI to give dodi a voice which helps kids to navigate the platform, solve games and to interactively learn about strengths and weaknesses of your child. We also use AI to help you create new, exciting games, tailored for your kids.

Every plan runs on dodi AI — four simple services: dodi Voice, dodi Thinking, dodi Code (game creation) and dodi Image. We pick and manage the models behind them, and usage draws from your credits at the published unit prices. Paid plans include a monthly credit balance that refreshes on the 1st; you can top up extra credits anytime, and they're used only after your monthly credits. Prefer your own key? Connect a Gemini, Claude or other key anytime — it combines with dodi AI, and any provider you supply a key for draws no credits.

Your plan includes a monthly dodi AI credit balance (a € value) that refreshes on the 1st. Usage draws from it at the published prices — the unit price times the minutes, tokens or images your family actually used. Prices are recalculated daily from our providers' current rates and the official ECB exchange rate, and a change never applies to usage before its publication. Cached context bills at its own, much lower price. When your monthly credits run low, any extra credits you've topped up are used next; the platform fee is billed separately (yearly on annual billing).

Surprise bills aren't possible. dodi AI runs on credits: your monthly balance first, then any extra credits you've purchased, and the moment both are empty AI activity pauses automatically until the next refresh or your next top-up. You're never charged more than you've put in, and topping up is always your choice.

dodi AI automatically picks the best-suited providers and models for each task. New models come out each month and we constantly evaluate the best options for dodi. You always have the flexibility to choose specific models, and to bring your own key for any provider.

For Gemini, create a free key at Google AI Studio in about two minutes. For Claude, sign up at the Anthropic Console and create one under “API keys”. Paste it into dodi's parent settings — it checks the key and guides you through every step.

Your key is encrypted on your device and never leaves it unencrypted. Our servers never see it in plain text, and it never appears readable in backups or sync. You can revoke it in your provider's console at any moment.

dodi keeps the same conversation log on every plan, encrypted end to end — it just prunes entries older than your plan's window (1 week on Egg, 1 month on Hatchling, 6 months on Strider, the full history on Apex). Conversations stay private to your family, and you can review and delete everything from the parent dashboard.

No. Major AI providers state that data sent through their APIs — whether dodi's keys or your own — is not used to train their models by default.

Nothing breaks. If you reach your persona or storage limit, dodi tells you and keeps working — you make room or upgrade. If your dodi AI credits run out, new AI activity pauses automatically until your monthly credits refresh or you top up; everything else keeps working.

Yes — all listed prices, platform fees and usage rates alike, include 20% VAT (Austria).

Yes — your plan and billing period can be changed anytime in the parent dashboard. Switching to annual applies immediately with the two-months-free discount; cancelling keeps your plan active until the end of the paid period, and your kids' memories and creations stay yours.
